Measuring Success: Municipalities and Homelessness Prevention FundingThe Grant to Help Persons Who Are Homeless or At-Risk of Homelessness, funded by the Banking Institution, requires municipalities to demonstrate the effectiveness of their projects in achieving specific outcomes. To ensure compliance with the funding requirements, municipalities must understand the measurement framework that will be used to assess their performance.### Outcomes and KPIs for MunicipalitiesMunicipalities receiving funding under this grant program are expected to achieve specific outcomes related to homelessness prevention and housing stability. The primary outcomes of interest include: reducing the number of individuals experiencing homelessness, increasing the percentage of individuals who achieve stable housing, and improving the overall quality of life for those served. To measure these outcomes, municipalities will be required to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of individuals served, the type and duration of services provided, and the housing status of individuals at program exit.
